Greetings Fellow Members and Friends,
We wanted to inform you that as part of the CHINAWEEK month-long series of activities our Association will be attending an event that may be of interest to you.
CHINAWEEK is an annual series of events designed to bring the most current, relevant, multidisciplinary information about China and Chinese culture to the city of Los Angeles.
The events take place throughout the greater Los Angeles region from May 1-19 each year across nine sectors including: arts and culture, business, education, entertainment, environment, public affairs, science and technology, tourism, and philanthropy. You can see all of the activities and events by clicking on email@example.com.
We have arranged for a block of seats for the Tuesday, May 14th event that will examine “Transformation of Chinese America: From Yellow Peril to Model Minority and Everything in Between”. This will be the culminating event for CHINAWEEK 2019. It will be atthe UCLA Faculty Center, California Room, 480 Charles E. Young Drive East, Los Angeles, CA 90095 from 4-7pm.
It will focus on ways in which immigration and US-China relations have shaped Chinese American life over time.
